RARE & MYSTERIOUS! Saffordite Tektite Half Transparent Glassy Volcanic Meteorite

This specimen is super cool! It is half-transparent with a pitted texture & multiple craters! There is the presence of another material in a few of those cratered pockets. I took close-ups in pics 5, 7 & 8.
There is some controversy on how these specimens came about, with many speculating that they are formed from water-rolled volcanic glass, otherwise known as obsidian & found in the deserts of Arizona. Others believe they are volcanic rock from another body (like another planet or asteroid) that was ejected into space by an impact, or a piece of volcanic material from Earth ejected by an impact & now classified as a tektite!
